Season's greetings
The team at Future Food Systems CRC would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
It has been a productive year for the CRC, with 10 industry projects completed, 14 new projects launched and a further 11 in the pipeline.
The CRC's research projects are producing real-world impacts. We now have the foundation to meet and exceed milestones well before the halfway mark of our lifespan. That includes delivering 60 PhDs for the food and agricultural sector. This alone will impact our sector for decades to come.
Please note that the CRC office will be closed over the festive period, from Friday 23 December through Sunday 8 January, reopening on Monday 9 January 2023.
Welcoming our new CEO Dr James Krahe
Future Food Systems CRC is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr James Krahe as its new chief executive officer. Formerly the Innovation Manager at Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL), Dr Krahe will commence in the role on 16 January 2023, replacing interim-CEO, Mr Richard Norton. An agrifood innovator at heart, Dr Krahe is tasked with encouraging collaboration across the Australian food and agribusinesses sector and will support the ground-breaking research happening across Future Food Systems’ project portfolio.
