Join University of New England’s SMART Regional Incubator on 30 April for its inaugural Demo Day and Pitch event: meet its ag-tech start-up program cohort, see their new technologies in action, then hear them pitch to potential customers and investors.
UNE’s SMART Regional Incubator (SRI), a dedicated ag-tech start-up program. is currently supporting more than 20 ag-tech founders in bringing their novel technologies, developed by or with agricultural producers, to market.
SRI’s AgTech Demo Day and Pitch Event gives industry, and investors, primary producers and potential customers, collaborators and community members the opportunity meet the brains behind these start-ups and check out their novel agricultural technologies-in-development.
After the morning’s Demo session (10am–1pm) at UNE’s SRI headquarters in downtown Armidale, there’s a half-hour lunch break before the Pitch session (1pm–4.30pm), to take place in Armidale Town Hall.
At the Pitch event, SRI’s ag-tech founders will present their businesses to a group of judges, international investors, potential consumers and members of the wider community. Each of the two winners will receive prize money to help grow their business globally.
