This in-person, industry-focused event has been designed to showcase Queensland University of Technology’s Centre for Agriculture and the Bioeconomy (CAB) and the world-class research, projects, people and facilities involved in its eight programs.
The two-hour Showcase, taking place at The Cube, on QUT’s Garden Point Campus, will include numerous speakers outlining their projects and research findings, as well as interactive screens and displays showing CAB’s evolving research into agriculture and the bioeconomy.
It’s your opportunity to meet leading researchers delivering innovations and activating high-impact transformation across the agricultural sector and hear from experts helping to scale up Queensland’s efforts to develop a truly sustainable bioeconomy and a greener future for us all.
Drinks and canapes will be served.

The event showcases the latest research advancements in CAB’s priority areas, including:
- sustainable agroecosystems;
- industrial and synthetic biotechnology;
- agrifood systems;
- bioprocessing;
- plant genomics;
- food innovation;
- crop resilience;
- sustainable soils;
- crop nutrition;
- automation; and
- the development of value-added products.
