CRC partner Peel Development Commission has scheduled this free, in-person information and advice session to help stakeholders get funding for projects and initiatives that enhance the market readiness of the region’s agrifood sector.
The event will provide key information on food and agriculture sector funding opportunities available through the Western Australian Governnent Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (WA DPIRD).
It will include presentations from government and industry representatives, advice on successful applications and more.
Event focus
In the three-hour infosession and workshop, attendees will:
- learn about existing and upcoming agrifood and beverage support grants and funding programs;
- get advice on how to prepare a competitive application and avoid common mistakes; and
- get a solid understanding of post-grant delivery expectations.
Funding opportunities
The six grant and funding opportunities to be addressed in the workshop are:
- Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants;
- Value Add Investment Grants;
- Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program;
- Export Pathways Program;
- International Competitiveness Co-Investment Fund; and
- WA Food Innovation Precinct (WAFIP) Enterprise Support Program.

The in-person event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 16 September 2021 between 1pm and 4pm, Western Australia time. It is supported by Peel Development Commission (Peel DC).
