The 2020 IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas in Washington DC is aimed at ‘connecting the business and science of the microbiome’ to shape the future of prebiotic, probiotic and microbiota-focused nutrition industries.
Initially scheduled for May 2020, this year’s event has been postponed until mid-November in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions on travel and gatherings.
For 13 years, the Probiota series has tracked the evolution of pre and probiotics. In 2020, for the fifth successive year, Probiota is partnering with the IPA World Congress in organising an event that’s designed to ‘challenge, inspire and fuel the growth of your industry’.
Like last year’s event in Vancouver, which attracted more than 300 delegates from around the world, the 2020 event is expected to bring together key representatives from leading manufacturers and research organisations, consultancies, academia and start-ups.
This year’s conference will feature 30-plus expert speakers and panellists, drawn from leading academic institutions and businesses, in an interactive format of speaker-led panel and roundtable sessions. Fifteen scheduled hours of networking, including a gala dinner on Day 2 and several informal social events, will give delegates ample time to forge productive connections.
