The COVID-19 pandemic has presented challenges and subsequently, opportunities. There’s never been a more crucial time to think differently and to innovate – not just to deliver new products but to bring new services, processes, communication tools and business models into current and future markets.
Emphasising practical action – concrete steps agrifood businesses can implement immediately – the intensive XPotential™ course consists of three 2.5-hour Zoom workshops, take-home work and mentoring spread over September and October.
Program details
The Fast ‘n Furious Innovation program kicks off with an hour-long individual company briefing session. These will be held between 7 and 11 September and will be followed by three 2.5-hour ‘Virtual Workshops’, hosted via the Zoom platform on 23 and 30 September and 7 October 2020.
The program aims to help participants answer these key questions:
- What type of innovation is required to ignite my agrifood business for the post-COVID-19 ‘new normal’?
- What business capabilities does my enterprise need to develop to deliver consistent performance innovation?
After assessing available opportunities, each participant will identify, then work on a specific, current innovation challenge relevant to their business, employing tools and processes based on Design-led thinking and Lean Start-up principles.
Nuts ‘n’ bolts
The registration fee – $299 for one person; $399 for three – includes the initial session, workshops and materials, and a follow-up c0mpany mentoring session 4-6 weeks after the program’s completion, ‘to support your innovation project progress’.
The XPotential™ course was designed and is run by Mike Harley, who brings global expertise in marketing, sales, innovation and export leadership in the food and consumer packaged goods sector to the table.
