At this evening event hosted by South East Queensland-based Food & Agribusiness Network (FAN), Barry Irvin AM – Executive Chairman from Bega Cheese – will share his rationale for embracing circularity, talk about why this is the way of the future for agrifood businesses, and recount his journey leading the Bega Valley Circular Economy initiative.
The ‘Bega Circular Valley 2030’ initiative aims to deliver high-impact, transformational regional development. The pioneering vision is to establish Bega Valley Shire as the most circular regional economy in Australia, and show that this sort of change can be replicated by other regions globally.
The evening will also feature a panel of FAN members; they include:
- Matt Jancauskas from Brouhaha Brewery;
- Brent Dellar from First Batch Coffee Roasters; and
- Alison McGruddy from My Berries.
The panellists will share insights into how they incorporate circularity principles into their agrifood business practices.
FAN thanks Advance Queensland and Noosa Council for their support of this event.
