UNSW Sydney-based Chemical Engineering Research Society (CERS) is hosting its second annual industry networking night, again on 8 June at Cicada Innovations in Eveleigh, Sydney.
The objective is to give students, postgrads and early-career researchers in the chemical engineering field and members of related industries the chance to congregate, converse and connect. A highlight of the evening will be a keynote address from Future Food Systems (FFS) CEO and former food scientist Dr James Krahe.
As part of the event, FFS will have a table at the venue and several of our team in attendance, along with project leads and members of our PhD cohort.
Also on the guestlist are representatives of Australia’s food and beverage manufacturing industry, including start-ups and established firms. (Stay tuned for announcements on who’ll be there in coming weeks.)
If last year’s event is anything to go by, it promises to be a terrific networking opportunity. Drinks and innovative finger food are included in the ticket price: BYO big ideas and project proposal pitches.
