CSIRO’s AgCatalyst 2022, this year themed ‘Facing the Future’, is a forum for business, government, investors, peak industry bodies, producer groups, research funders and providers and policymakers across the food and agriculture sectors.
This year’s AgCatalyst will showcase CSIRO’s regional and national collaborations ‘to prepare our agriculture and food sectors for a challenging future – from building drought and climate resilience to meeting consumer demands for foods of the future’.
Conference agenda
Day 1: Tuesday 22 November (5pm-7pm)
- Opening Ceremony and networking drinks
- Dynamic exhibition area showcasing future-leaning CSIRO research.
Day 2: Wednesday 23 November (9am-4pm)
A full day’s conference program includes:
- Innovations designed to boost Australia’s agrifood sector from CSIRO’s various regional sites;
- Lightning pitches: New and inspiring research from CSIRO’s brightest minds;
- Seeds for innovation: A showcase of various models that deliver innovation;
- Bridging knowledge systems: CSIRO’s Indigenous Science and Engagement Program;
- Mission-driven and future science for the agrifood sector;
- Panel discussions with students on the ‘farm of the future’;
- ‘Facing the future’ Q&As with CSIRO’s partners; and
- Dynamic exhibition area showcasing CSIRO’s future-leaning research.

Key details
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 November 2022, from 5-7pm AEDT on Day 1 and from 9am-4pm AEDT on Day 2.

The event is free of charge but pre-registration is required. Registrations close 15 November.
